Comprised mostly of chemists, materials science engineers, and chemical engineers, our group works to characterize and test materials to drive scientific developments, solve challenging problems, and support programmatic needs in LLNL’s Physical and Life Sciences, Strategic Deterrence, and Global Security organizations.
Our group also helps to centralize LLNL’s endeavors in energetic materials formulation, bridging the gap between the High Explosives Application Facility and the Site 300 Chemistry Area.
