Research Interests

My interests are mostly focused on neutrino physics and rare-event searches. My current research includes work on the design and development of a liquid-Argon dual-phase detector to search for the yet-unseen coherent neutrino scattering. This experiment also has application in nuclear reactor monitoring for nuclear non-proliferation, a subject that has been recently attracting my interest. I also collaborate in developing the Cryogenic Underground Observatory for Rare Events (CUORE), an extremely sensitive detector designed to shed more light on the neutrino nature, mass hierarchy and scale, by searching for neutrinoless double-beta decay.
