Research Interests

Dr. Dai is currently a Research Scientist of the Chemical & Isotopic Signatures Group within LLNL's Nuclear and Chemical Sciences Division. His research interest is to explore the relationship between microstructure of solid materials and their performances including process, behavior and mechanism. His research field deals with electron microscopy, nano-materials, nuclear forensics, energy and environmental science, and mineralogy and petrology of extraterrestrial materials.
