Research Interests

Theoretical understanding and predictive computer model development of high-explosive reactive flows, such as detonation, shock initiation, impact-fracture-recompression detonation transition, deflagration to detonation transition, impact ignition, thermal explosion mechanisms, equation of state, and nonequilibrium chemical kinetics.
