Research Interests

Synthesis, characterization, crystal growth studies, and applications of metal and metal oxide nanomaterials; surface enhanced Raman for sensing applications; in-situ atomic force microscopy for monitoring crystal growth in real time; understanding effects of various surfactants on crystal shape and how properties are altered as a result; electrophoretic deposition for manipulation and directed self assembly of nanoparticles.
