Physics Division Internship

The Physics Division offers undergraduate and graduate students opportunities to engage in exciting learning experiences through paid student internships.

Physics internship topics span a broad range of areas, including astrophysics, planetary science, plasma science, fusion energy, optical science, and quantum science.

Interns in the Physics Division:

Physics internships take place throughout the year, with interns hired for the fall, spring, and summer.

Members of the Equilibrium Physics at Extreme Conditions Group adjust instrumentation for their dynamic diamond anvil system.

Applications

The application period is closed. Future intern opportunities will be posted on this page as they become available. Applications for the fall typically open in August and close in late October. Applications for winter/spring and summer typically open in early October and close in late January.
