What do you like about working at the Lab?
Every time I work, I learn new information. It’s been a nice opportunity to expand my knowledge and gain experience in a research role.
What inspired you to go into science?
I’ve always enjoyed STEM, even at a young age. My favorite memories in elementary school were going to the computer lab and creating my own ecosystem in our class science experiment. Later in life, my parents also inspired me to pursue a STEM field. I saw how much they enjoyed the work they did, and thought I should give it a chance as well.
What is your educational background?
I have a BS in earth and environmental sciences from Washington State University, and I plan on going back to school!
What do you do in your free time?
I was a student athlete at Washington State University, so I love to stay active. I do lots of running! I also enjoy cooking and baking as well. My favorite dish to cook is curry, and my favorite dessert to bake is brownies. Yum!
