What do you like about your job?
I get to work with a lot of great people who are experts in their fields and disciplines. Never boring and always challenging. We are pushing the envelope in developing and using new technologies. It always great when we get to travel to cool places for conferences and meetings.
What do your day-to-day work activities include?
Looking at and processing lots of data one day, in the field the next.
What is your educational or career background?
Geophysics
What inspired you to go into science?
On a field trip to Mount Lassen, I saw awesome geology and wanted study earth sciences.
What advice would you give to a new employee at the Lab?
Think different.
What do you do in your free time?
Run races, trail running, hiking, and flying.
